Mr Mohamed Boshnaq is a respected Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon based in East Kent. He is renowned for his excellent skills in advanced laparoscopic surgery. He specialises in minimal access surgery for gastrointestinal diseases, gallstones, and hernia repair. He also specialises in surgery for inflammatory bowel disease and bowel cancer.
Mr Boshnaq completed his higher surgical training in the south east of England, followed by a fellowship in advanced colorectal malignancy and inflammatory bowel disease at Royal London hospital. He is a substantive consultant at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, and an Honorary colorectal consultant at Royal London Hospital. He is involved in the education of medical students being a faculty member of Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS), and he is a member of the Association of Coloproctology of
Great Britain & Ireland (ACPGBI).

From the first consultation, he explained the procedure (laparoscopic cholecystectomy) clearly and had plenty of time and patience to answer any questions. The procedure went smoothly. So pleased that I was able to have a treatment with him at the Spencer wing and would absolutely recommend him and the hospital.
Fabolous work from Dr. Boshnaq and his team. Did not use the painkillers as I didn't feel any pain whatsoever. His customer liaison was also of the highest standard I could have wished for. All around excellent and highly recommended.
