Mr Mohamed Boshnaq is a respected Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon based in East Kent. He is renowned for his excellent skills in advanced laparoscopic surgery. He specialises in minimal access surgery for gastrointestinal diseases, gallstones, and hernia repair. He also specialises in surgery for inflammatory bowel disease and bowel cancer.
Mr Boshnaq completed his higher surgical training in the south east of England, followed by a fellowship in advanced colorectal malignancy and inflammatory bowel disease at Royal London hospital. He is a substantive consultant at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, and an Honorary colorectal consultant at Royal London Hospital. He is involved in the education of medical students being a faculty member of Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS), and he is a member of the Association of Coloproctology of
Great Britain & Ireland (ACPGBI).
